Christmas time is here…

Hello there everyone! It’s been a while since we posted anything, but since it IS that time of year to celebrate our King’s birth, we decided we wanted to celebrate with you guys!

We are writing songs constantly, and that includes songs of praise for Christmas time! Christ left all of His glory to come down and save us…the broken, the needy…and that’s a very beautiful thing.
So since we always write new stuff around this time, we wanted to give you all 4 of our Christmas tunes for free. Merry Christmas!

“Our King Has Come!”, which is also the title track on the album, is something that came from us reflecting heavily on what Christ’s birth really meant to us as sinners. It’s us declaring His coming, why He came, how much we love and owe Him for it, and how much it humbles us. We hope you enjoy this EP and SHARE IT WITH EVERYONE YOU KNOW! We did this so that you guys could have new Christmas tunes this season, and we want all of your friends and family to worship with them as well.

Hey people. I guess Pete was the only one that caught the whole “April Fools” joke about us having three albums coming out and one at the end of summer. However, we do have one coming by NEXT summer. It will be our first full-length album. Get ready for it will be awesome. Until then though, we wanted you to have a few more songs to worship with in your homes, cars, etc! So, the “Calling Us EP” will be hitting iTunes and your hands at the end of July. It’s a 5 song EP. The songs featured are:

Hello all!

You may or may not know that REFUGE: WORSHIP is recording our first full length studio album, but it’s not actually one album. We have too many songs for just ONE album, so…

2 is better than 1 right? We think so! What’s better than 2 though…3? Can we really do 3 in 2 years?

Yep. Gonna happen.

Calling Us is the name of the record that will be coming out this year in the late summer/early fall. It’s packed full of passionate songs about responding to God’s call and will for our lives.

Following Calling Us is a 5 song Christmas EP called Glory. We write new Christmas material each year, and we have some of these like “Glory to God in the Highest,” Beautiful,” and “The Need,” as well as a couple of new ones.

In the summer of 2012, our second studio album will be released. We are also wanting to have a worship night in the near future where we will record a REFUGE WORSHIP: ACOUSTIC LIVE record. We believe in the Spirit, and we know He is the only reason any of this will glorify the Father.

Please join us in prayer as we complete these recordings. Our whole worship ministry’s purpose: to lift high and glorify His name. Hopefully these records will be filled with Spirit-led lyrics and tunes that you can crank anywhere, in front of anyone, in the car, at work, in the gym, ANYWHERE!

New music is good…FREE new music is EVEN better, right? Right! So…we want you to have the acoustic version of “The New Has Come”, as a Valentines gift from us in REFUGE: WORSHIP. Just follow the link above, find the song in the music player, and click “free .mp3″. You can still hear a demo version of our song “Calling Us (Never Let a Rock Cry Out). It’s basic and was recorded for the purpose of teaching our musicians their parts…just wait until you hear the version that will be on the actual album coming this summer. You’re going to love it.

“The New Has Come” is a simple worship tune written solely from Scripture.

We are doing something VERY different but VERY exciting this Sunday at REFUGE. It will be unlike anything we’ve EVER done before. Do everything you can to invite everyone you know. The Spirit will envelope that building and everyone sitting in it. We already expect Him to move in ways we’ve never seen before.

Enjoy this song this week in your personal worship time. Declare it. You are a new creation, the old is gone, and your fears are delivered through the seeking of His presence in your life.
